The International Investor Relations Alliance (IIRA) brings together in a single grouping leading investor relations specialists from different equity markets around the world.

Established in July 2008, our mission is two-fold: to facilitate equity market players across borders to meet and invest in well-run public listed companies and to raise the bar for the investor relations practice in the region.

Strategic Role

Starting from a communications role, the investor relations function has today evolved into a more proactive role of investment matchmaker.

Underpinning this transformation is the increasingly borderless nature of equity trades.

Investors increasingly clamor for a variety of investing options and constantly demand new investing ideas to spread their risks and boost their returns.

This often means investing beyond their domicile markets.

The IIRA seeks to bridge the liquidity afforded by international fund managers and the funding needs of listed companies in international exchanges in an efficient and organized fashion.

By leveraging on its members’ individual database and local industry contacts, the alliance is able to broaden the reach of both corporates and investors.

This greater depth ultimately encourages a more vibrant investing environment leading to a more diversified and enlarged shareholder base as well as higher capital appreciation for listed companies.
